Roborock Saros 10R

The Saros 10R is Roborock's flagship vacuum-mop, and the one product in this category where the AI claims hold up under independent testing. It navigates with solid-state LiDAR and recognises obstacles visually, and it was the first machine to take a perfect 24 out of 24 obstacle score at Vacuum Wars — the benchmark that separates robots that avoid a cable from robots that wrap themselves around one. RTINGS rated it the best robot vacuum they had tested in 2026.

Price is the moving part. It launched at $1,599 and was around $899.99 as of July 2026, as researched that August. That is a large enough drop that any figure written down, including this one, should be treated as indicative and checked at the retailer.

There is no significant honesty caveat to attach here beyond the price volatility, which is unusual for this category and worth saying plainly. The obstacle-avoidance story is real rather than marketing, and the main competitor — Dreame's X50 Ultra, with retractable legs for climbing thresholds — competes on a different and more theatrical feature rather than on core navigation.

Not tested hands-on. Compiled from the vendor's published specifications and independent test results from Vacuum Wars and RTINGS, researched August 2026 and not re-verified since; pricing in this category moves quickly, so confirm before buying. There is no Digital4All score on this listing: our scores mean hands-on testing, and we will not imply testing we have not done.
