Logitech Tap Scheduler

The Tap Scheduler is the panel that goes on the wall outside a meeting room: a 10.1-inch touchscreen over Power over Ethernet, with availability LEDs visible down a corridor, so people can see a room is free and claim it at the door. It runs natively with Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Robin, Envoy and Appspace, and is managed centrally through Logitech Sync. The casing is 54% recycled plastic. It launched in 2021 and is still the current model.

Logitech's own site listed it at $999 when we researched this in August 2026; reseller pricing varies by channel, so get a quote rather than budgeting from a single number.

The honest cost is not the panel, though, and this is the part that surprises people. Each unit needs PoE cabling run to the door — there is no battery or Wi-Fi option — and each room needs a Logitech service plan, with Essential at $199 per room per year. Ten rooms therefore lands near $7,000 of hardware plus roughly $2,000 a year in plans, before anyone runs a cable. That is a sensible spend where double-booked rooms waste real time every week, and hard to justify below a handful of rooms.
